Last year the City Council approved an ambitious new two-year work plan that addresses our many priorities in a methodical and deliberate approach.

Infrastructure

  • Developing a A Ten Year Capital Improvement Plan (FY2019)
  • Developing a Ten Year ADA Compliance Plan (FY2019)
  • Develop a Storm Water Master Plan (FY2019-20)

Public Safety

  • Implement a Community Policing Strategy (complete)
  • Enhanced use of technology (FY2019 – underway with use of drones, cameras, and gunshot geolocating technology)
  • Restore UCFD Ambulance Service and Mutual Aid (FY2019 – underway and estimated to begin in late 3rd quarter of 2019)
  • Accreditation of Police Department (FY2019-22 – underway)

Economic Development

  • Olive and I-170 Development (FY2019)
  • Develop an Economic Development Strategy (FY2019 – underway)
  • Parking Study to Analyze Parking in the Loop and WU Parking Impacts (FY2019 – underway)
  • Hotel Feasibility Study for Olive and Delmar at I-170
